DJ Snake Cancels India Tour Due to Health Issue, Says “I Need to Have Surgery and Fully Recover”

French EDM sensation DJ Snake has announced the cancellation of his much-anticipated India tour, citing an ongoing health issue that has finally forced him to take serious medical action. On Monday, the artist took to his Instagram to share an open message with his global fanbase, explaining that he has been coping with a health problem for some time and, after consulting with doctors, has been advised to undergo surgery in early February.

In his emotional note, DJ Snake wrote: “Hey guys, I’ve been battling a health issue for a while, and it’s finally caught up with me. After talking with my doctors, I need to have surgery in early February. It’s something I can’t push or delay anymore, and I’ll need a month to fully rest and recover after that.”

He added that as a result, he has had to make the tough decision to cancel all upcoming shows, including the India tour. “This means cancelling all my shows, including the India tour, and that decision has been incredibly hard,” he said, sharing that prioritising his health and recovery was the only viable option. “But I need to get back to 100%, and this is the only way. Thank you for your love & understanding. I’ll be back soon, stronger than before. William.”

The planned India tour was set to be part of the Sunburn Arena shows across six cities, with DJ Snake scheduled to perform in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi-NCR in February. This cancellation comes as a disappointment for many fans who were eagerly awaiting his return to India, making what would have been his third visit to the country.
