Abhishek Banerjee is receiving severe backlash on social media after he released his film ‘Sex, Likes & Stories’ on social media. On Thursday, Keith Gomes’ short film featuring Abhishek, Mokshda Jailkhani, and Shruthy Menon in lead roles surfaced online and it left netizens enraged due to its content. Shot on iPhone, the shows the seamier side of social media and depicts how people choose to gain more followers online rather than having actual, real friends in life. A certain section of people is trolling the movie calling it ‘cringe.’
Abhishek posted the trailer of the film on his Instagram handle and tweeted, “Did this short a while back .. you guys can watch it on YouTube. Thank you @keithgomes.w for this whacky one!! It’s time to get real! Sex, Likes & Stories out now on YouTube/ @ KeithGomes! Link in bio.” In no time, netizens flocked to the comment section to slam the movie. One user commented, “Hindu deviyo ka majak?” Another trolled Abhishek writing, “Kya bakwas hai ye bhai actor acha h tu ye bas sex hawas ye sab hi dikhao iske alawa content ni h bhai kuch dhang ka krle like the way u do in stree and pataal lok...that character complexity was good but this is shit.” One comment read, “Targeting.. Hindu god again.. y to have such scene such title and displaying model acting goddess.. never expected such thing from your end shameful!!!.”
