“Mujhe Logon Se Koi Lena Dena Nahi”: Sudha Chandran Breaks Silence After Viral Bhajan Video Sparks Trolling

Veteran television actress Sudha Chandran has finally responded after videos from a recent Mata Ki Chowki bhajan night went viral on social media and triggered a wave of trolling and criticism. The footage shows her appearing wholly immersed in devotion during the religious event she hosted on January 3, where she was seen in a trance-like state and emotionally overwhelmed. In some clips, those around her try to support her as she seems to lose control, and it was reported that she even bit someone in the crowd during the intense spiritual moment. 

Following the spread of these clips and the mixed reactions online — with some claiming it was staged or fake — Sudha Chandran addressed the situation in an interview, making clear she won’t justify herself or her spiritual experience to critics. She described the moment as deeply personal and powerful, saying, “It is a moment everyone wants to live in. Maa Shakti aapke andar aake voh energy de rahi hai … it is the happiest moment in my life.”

Reacting to trolls, Sudha said: “Mujhe logon se koi lena dena nahi hai. Joh troll karte hai, acchi baat hai, khush rahe apne zindagi mein … What about those millions of people who could connect and resonate with it? Mere liye voh important hai.” She emphasized that she has her own perceptions and spiritual connections, and that devotion is a personal issue for her. 

The Naagin actress also reflected on her life journey and resilience, recalling that even after her accident — which resulted in the amputation of her right foot and her return through perseverance — she never worried about what people would say. “I am a self-made woman and I will continue living my life with dignity, respect and blessings from the divine,” she concluded.
