December started off with a rainy note for Mumbaikars, while rest of India chilled under the cool winter breeze. On Wednesday Mumbaikars had to wade through heavy rains under umbrellas and in raincoats.

Northern parts of Konkan i.e., Mumbai, Thane and Palghar and areas in Madhya Maharashtra are bracing for some moderate rain along with thunderstorms till December 2, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, as reported by Indian Express.

The Met department issued a “yellow” alert for November 30-December 2 indicating thunderstorms with lightning and light to moderate rain.

Interestingly, following the heavy rainfall on December 1, #MumbaiRains continues to dominate the trends and locals couldn’t stop expressing dismay at the unseasonal showers. But, the spirit of Mumbai remains unaffected. 

Several Mumbaikars working from home had a chance to wrap their heads around hilarious memes and let us assure you, memers went really creative this time. 

Mumbai’s unsesonal rain inspired many to curate some hilarious scenes or instances which make up for good humorous content. Soon Twitter was flooded with memes and jokes after winter rain began to hit the city.

While some quipped, ‘monsoon is permanent’ in Mumbai, others shared how they feel about winter rains, adding chilly vibes.
