After Srikanth's Arrest, Tamil Actor Krishna Goes Missing As His Name Emerges In A Chennai Drug Case During Ongoing Police Investigation!
Tamil actor Krishna has reportedly gone missing just hours after his name surfaced in a major drugs case in Chennai. His disappearance follows the arrest of fellow actor Srikanth in the same investigation. Sources reveal that Krishna has switched off his phone and is currently incommunicado, prompting the Chennai police to launch a manhunt. A five-member team has been assembled to locate him.
Srikanth was arrested on June 23 after police found one gram of cocaine and seven empty packets during a raid at his Chennai residence. He was subsequently remanded in judicial custody at Puzhal Prison until July 7.
The investigation began in late May with a pub brawl in Nungambakkam. During the incident, police detained several individuals, including T Prasad, a former AIADMK IT-wing functionary. Prasad’s interrogation revealed he had supplied cocaine—allegedly sourced from others with accomplices named Pradeep and a Ghanaian national, John. He admitted to selling cocaine worth approximately Rs 12,000 to Srikanth at parties tied to the film Theekirai, which Prasad co-produced.
According to the Anti‑Narcotics Intelligence Unit, Pradeep conducted over 40 drug transactions, some involving Srikanth. His mobile phone has been seized for forensic analysis to trace links to other suspects.
Krishna’s name emerged through statements made by Prasad and another accused, Prashanth, who claimed that both actors consumed cocaine at Chennai parties. These allegations are detailed in Prashanth’s confession. With Krishna currently untraceable, a special team is actively searching for him, including tracking efforts in Kerala.
The police have said they are deepening the probe to uncover any broader links among actors, politicians, land‑grabbing syndicates, and drug networks. The case continues to unfold rapidly, widening its net across different sectors.
