It’s celebration time for the Ambanis as they recently welcomed a new member in the family! Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani have become grandparents as their son Akash embraced fatherhood for the first time. Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Ambani welcomed a baby boy. As per reports, Shloka gave birth to her son in Mumbai and the newborn baby, as well as Shloka, are doing perfectly fine. The entire clan is delighted over the new addition in their family.
NDTV quoted the Ambani family’s spokesperson saying in their official statement that the arrival of Akash and Shloka’s son has brought a lot of joy to the entire Mehta and Ambani families. “Nita and Mukesh Ambani are delighted to become grandparents for the first time, as they welcomed the great-grandson of Dhirubhai and Kokilaben Ambani. Both mother and son are doing well. The new arrival has brought immense joy to the entire Mehta and Ambani families,” said the spokesperson.
Akash Ambani is the eldest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. Akash tied the knot with Shloka- the youngest child of diamond magnate Russell and Mona Mehta- last year in March after getting engaged in 2018. They had a larger-than-life, star-studded wedding attended by Bollywood’s leading stars such as Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others.
