The Ambanis are over the moon as their youngest son Anant Ambani is set to get married to Industrialist Viren Merchant’s daughter and his childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant. Reliance Industries’ Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani are currently busy preparing for the upcoming nuptials which will be taking place in Jamnagar, Gujarat from March 1 to March 3. The upcoming ceremonies will be happening in a traditional yet grand way.
Well, as per a report by Zoom, the guests are all set to experience the beauty of Indian culture during the pre-wedding festivities of Anant and Radhika. They will receive traditionally crafted Bandhani scarves by women artisans from Kachchh and Lalpur in Gujarat. Reliance Foundation took to its official social media handle on Friday to share a video of the artisans making the scarves ahead of their wedding. The founder and chairperson of the organisation, Nita Ambani is seen meeting the artisans and expressing her fascination after seeing their hard work. The caption of the post read, “In a tribute to Indian heritage, the Ambani family has commissioned skilled women artisans from Kachchh & Lalpur, to weave a tapestry of dreams for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's upcoming union. These women pour their hearts and souls into the craft, preserving age-old techniques and breathing life into stories as ancient as the land itself. For the unversed, Anant’s fiance Radhika, is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Both the families had gotten together for the Roka ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple at Nathdwara in Rajasthan on December 29. The couple had gotten engaged in a lavish ceremony of Gol Dhana and Chunari Vidhi which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood on January 19, 2023, in Antilia.
