Amidst it all, a photo of cricketer Mitchell Marsh resting his feet on the World Cup trophy has now gone viral on the internet, leaving fans enraged.

In the photo shared by the Australian captain Pat Cummins, on his Instagram story, Mitchell can be seen resting his feet on top of the trophy as he poses for the camera.
