India’s one of the most influential families, the Ambani’s are currently over the moon as their youngest son Anant Ambani is all set to marry his childhood sweetheart Radhika Merchant. Ever since the announcement of their union, the couple make it to the headlines for their beautiful bond with each other. Recently an unseen video from the engagement ceremony went viral, which left the netizens gushing about their relationship with each other.
In a video that has surfaced on Instagram, the couple can be seen having a conversation, when she spots a lash on his cheek. She goes on to pick it up and asks him to give her his hand. While he is first seen telling her to just drop it, once she insists again, he goes along with what she wants, makes his wish and blows the lash away. Radhika and Anant are then seen laughing. For the unversed, wishing upon a fallen eyelash was something most of the people followed, as it was the purest form of belief. Netizens couldn’t stop gushing about their bond, as many expressed their shock that even people like Radhika believe in the childish thing. One wrote, “Ye log v aesa krte hai.... For the unversed, Anant’s fiance Radhika, is the daughter of Encore Healthcare CEO Viren Merchant and Shaila Merchant. Both the families had gotten together for the Roka ceremony at the Shrinathji Temple at Nathdwara in Rajasthan on December 29.
The couple had gotten engaged in a lavish ceremony of Gol Dhana and Chunari Vidhi which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood on January 19th in Antilia. They had also hosted a close-knit pre-engagement mehendi ceremony, where the trained Bharatnatyam dancer opted for a hot pink custom-made, multi-colour silk lehenga with embroidered floral booties and mirrors. Her entire outfit was designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
