It was recently that Bill Gates and Melinda French announced their separation. They penned a note on social media stating that they have decided to put an end on their 27 years long marriage. Many perceived them to be an ideal couple, thus quite a few hearts were broken. Now, several reports stating several things about their marriage are making it to the headlines. It was recently reported that Bill Gates discussed about his failed marriage to Melinda with his Golf buddies.
As per a report in Page Six, Bill Gates is currently staying at a luxurious ultra-exclusive golf club in California. Further, New York Times reported that he has been discussing about his marriage with his golf friends. A source told the portal, "He told them a while back that the marriage was loveless, that it had been over for some time and they were living separate lives."
In a joint statement released by the couple, announcing divorce, they wrote, "After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives." They also asked for privacy by writing, "We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life." Ever since then, reports surrounding the the split of their fortune and much more are making it to the headlines.
