Captain Cool MS Dhoni To Play Captain 7 In New Animated Spy Series?
Former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is producing an animated spy series titled ‘Captain 7’. The first season of the series will release in 2022
There’s great news for all MS Dhoni fans! The former India captain has left fans excited after it was recently announced that he is producing an animated spy series titled ‘Captain 7’. It is touted to be India’s first animated spy universe, and the first season of the series- Captain 7, which will be based on the cricketer himself, will release next year, in 2022. The first season is currently in the pre-production stage.
The seven in the title ‘Captain 7’ denotes Dhoni’s jersey number. Mahendra Singh Dhoni and wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni's production house Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd and Black White Orange Brands Pvt Ltd (BWO) have partnered to create this animated series. PTI quoted Mahendra Singh Dhoni saying, “The concept and story is great. It will bring to life my other passions along with cricket.” MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni said that Captain 7 will be full of adventure, and that when BWO approached them with the concept of an animation fiction show based on MS Dhoni, they were on board with it.
The social media page of Dhoni Entertainment Pvt Ltd shared the logo of Captain 7, and announced the series. The caption of their post read, “'Captain 7' - the beginning of India’s first animated spy universe based on MS Dhoni’s attributes, from the house of Dhoni Entertainment and Black White Orange..7️ We can already feel the action!” Take a look at it below:
