Donald Trump Reveals He Knows Nothing About Tiger King Star Joe Exotic's Case, Says Will 'Look Into' His Pardon
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, in his recent briefing on Coronavirus, touched upon the topic of Netflix's Tiger King star Joe Exotic's case. When asked whether he'll grant presidential pardon to Joe Exotic, President Trump mentioned that he knows nothing about his case. Further, he jokingly said that he will look into his case. Joe Exotic is currently serving 22-years in prison for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill a rival animal rights activist Carole Baskin.

It started with Steven Nelson, a reporter from the New York Post, asking Donald Trump if he had seen Joe's, Tiger King. "I was wondering if you've seen the show and have any thoughts...", Steven started and then brought out his case. Donald Trump then said, "I know nothing about it." He added, “He has 22 years for what? What did he do?” When Steven explained to him Joe's case, Trump asked him, “Do you think he didn’t do it?” He further quizzed, “Are you on his side? Are you recommending a pardon? As a reporter, you’re not allowed to do that. You’d be criticized by these — would you recommend a pardon?”

Later, Trump jokingly said that he'll look into Joe's case and moved on with the brief on Coronavirus.


While Donald Trump hasn't watched Tiger King or knows about Joe Exotic's case, his son Trump Jr is a big fan of all the memes surrounding Tiger King. He had recently shared a meme on his social media account revolving around Tiger King and Joe Exotic.
