Faizan Ansari Submits Complaint Against Rakhi Sawant To NIA, Seeks Action Over Alleged Pakistan Links.
Mumbai - Based Bollywood Influencer Faizan Ansari Faizan Ansari has approached the National Investigation Agency (NIA) with a complaint against Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant, alleging that she has strong connections with Pakistan and Pakistani media.
According to Ansari, he visited the NIA headquarters in New Delhi along with Supreme Court lawyer Advocate Shreya Smriti and submitted what he described as evidence, including videos and photographs, concerning Sawant’s alleged statements and activities - Shreya Smriti, an Advocate practising from the Supreme Court of India. I handle matters across India, as well as international legal matters.
In his complaint, Ansari has alleged that Rakhi Sawant, whom he refers to as “Rakhi Sawant alias Fatima,” made statements supporting former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and sought the resignation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has also alleged that the actress had made remarks about having “eaten Pakistan’s salt” and claimed that Pakistani agencies were involved in her conversion.
Ansari has urged the investigating agency to examine the material submitted and take appropriate legal action if any offence is established. He has also requested that Sawant’s passport be seized and that a case be registered under relevant provisions of Indian law.
Meanwhile, the controversy has also spilled onto the streets of Mumbai. Posters featuring Rakhi Sawant have reportedly been put up at public toilets as part of what Ansari described as a “befitting reply to Pakistan.”
The allegations made by Ansari are yet to be independently established. Any criminal liability or further action would depend on the findings of the concerned authorities and applicable law.
