Just as the Former President of the US Barack Obama and his family are famous, their dog Bo also held the tag of a celebrity of the White House. He appeared in many pictures with Barack Obama from the White House and was  said to be a star. Sadly, he is no more. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama took to their respective social media accounts to mourn the death of their beloved dog named Bo who lost his battle of life to cancer. He was a Portuguese water dog gifted by the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy post Barack Obama won the election. Netizens are sending in tributes on social media.

For more than a decade, Bo was a constant, gentle presence in our lives—happy to see us on our good days, our bad days, and everyday in between." Another tweet read, "He tolerated all the fuss that came with being in the White House, had a big bark but no bite, loved to jump in the pool in the summer, was unflappable with children, lived for scraps around the dinner table, and had great hair."

Sharing a picture of Bo, Barack Obama further wrote, "He was exactly what we needed and more than we ever expected. We will miss him dearly." As netizens started pouring in their condolences and tributes, a fan wrote, "I love this man and his family so much that even the loss of his dog made me tear up. Rest In Peace Bo."
