Hardik Pandya Reacts On Koffee With Karan Controversy; Says, ‘Very Vulnerable Place You Don’t Want To Be’
During a recent interview, Hardik Pandya, for the first time ever, has reacted on his Koffee With Karan 6 controversy where he had appeared with teammate KL Rahul. The all-rounder says that the ball was not in his court, it was in some else’s court where they had to take the shot and that’s a very vulnerable place no one wants to be in.
Hardik Pandya’s appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan season 6 shook the cricketer’s life. The all-rounder along with teammate KL Rahul found themselves into the controversy when social media kept buzzing about their misogynist comments regarding women they have been with. The way Pandya spoke about women and flaunted his so-called Casanova image on the show didn’t go down well with people. Taking to social media users had slammed the cricketer left, right and center. While many labeled the episode ‘creepy’ and ‘disgusting’ others called him a ‘spoiled brat with no substance.’
Now for the first time ever, Hardik Pandya has opened up on his KWK controversy. While speaking to India Today, when he was asked about that phase of their life, he said, “We as cricketers did not know what was going to happen. The ball was not in my court, it was in some else’s court where they had to take the shot and that’s a very vulnerable place you don’t want to be.” Post their controversial remarks on the show, Hardik and KL Rahil were issued show-cause notices by the BCCI and were also suspended from the team for some time during India’s ODI series against Australia. Things went out of control and even Pandya’s gym membership with Khar gymkhana was called off. Meanwhile, the all-rounder is making headlines on a personal level. On the first day of New Year, Hardik Pandya got engaged to girlfriend Natasa Stankovic. The cricketer got down on one knee to propose to the love of his life. Hardik’s Pandya’s father Himanshu Pandya has reacted on the same and had said that they had no clue that they are going to get engaged in Dubai on New Year’s.
Hardik Pandya has not played for Team India since September last year as he suffered a back injury. But he’s expected to be up and about very soon.
