Indian Cricketer Hardik Pandya remembers his late father as he recently shared a throwback video of him where Hardik surprised his father by gifting him a luxury car
Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya lost their father Himanshu Pandya on January 17. The cricketer’s father suffered a cardiac arrest. Remembering his father, Hardik on Tuesday took to his Instagram to share a throwback video of Himanshu. As his absence is making him cry, he shared a cheerful video of his father where Hardik surprised his father by gifting him a luxury car. In the video, Hardik captured the moment when he was seen breaking into a smile upon learning that the car he had been inspecting at a showroom had been gifted to him by his son.
In the video, Senior Pandya inspects the car and learns about the specifications at the showroom where he later learns that the swanky car is actually gifted by Hardik. Sharing this happy moment, Pandya backs it with, “You are not here with us and that makes me cry! But seeing you smile like a kid who got his candy makes me smile and remember you with so much joy! Love you my dad”. Soon later, his wife Natasa Stankovic drops heart emoticons under the post.
After his tragic demise, Pandya shared some snaps with his father and penned an emotional letter addressing to his hero. He wrote, “To My Daddy and my Hero To lose you is one of the most difficult things to accept in life but you have left us so many great memories that we can only imagine you smiling! Your sons are standing where they are right now is only because of you, your hard work, your self-belief and you were always happy. This house without you would be less entertaining!”
“We love you and will always do Your name will always stay on top. But I know one thing, you are looking after us from above the same way you did here! You were proud of us but daddy we all are proud of the way you lived your life! As I said yesterday to you One last ride Now rest in peace my king I will miss you everyday of my life Love you daddddy!” His note further read.
