Virat Kohli has once again managed to impress the nation, courtesy of his impeccable batting. The Indian skipper took India a step closer to winning the T20 World Cup as he scored a well-crafted 82 runs in the first India Vs Pakistan match. India earned its latest win at the Sydney Cricket Ground in attendance of thousands of fans from both countries.
Interestingly, Anushka Sharma shared moments from the match on her Instagram handle and quipped why Vamika could not make out why her mom was shouting and screaming all over the room. The picture shared by Anushka featured Vamika close to the TV to take a look at her dad, Virat Kohli.
Expressing her excitement over her husband Virat Kohli’s excellent performance, the actress penned a long note and from the looks of it she couldn’t stop crushing on him.
Anushka, in her latest Instagram caption, started: “You beauty!! You freaking beauty!! You have brought sooooo much joy in peoples lives tonight and that too on the eve of Diwali! You are a wonderful wonderful man my love. Your grit, determination and belief is mind boggling !!”
For the unversed, Virat Kohli has repeatedly come under scrutiny owing to his bad form during the IPL and the latest win for the nation also turned out to be a moral victory for him as he has been trolled, criticized and belittled despite his contribution to Indian cricket.
In her caption, she referred to the India Vs Pakistan T20 match as the ‘best match’ of her life. Anushka Sharma wrote, “I have just watched the best match of my life I can say and although our daughter is too small to understand why her mother was dancing around and screaming wildly in the room”.
She even mentioned that one day their daughter will understand that her dad played his best innings that night.
The PK actor added: “One day she will understand that her dad played his best innings that night which followed after a phase that was tough on him but he came out of it stronger and wiser than ever before!”
