Entrepreneur and fashionista Isha Ambani has been pretty vocal about choosing comfort over style. She often makes the headlines for her choice of clothing. The Ambani heiress, who is currently enjoying her motherhood, was spotted at a posh restaurant in Bandra alongside her husband Anand Piramal for a dinner date. However it was their choice of clothing that left the internet shocked.
While Piramal chose to go with a simple t-shirt and pants, Isha’s matching co-ord set nightwear turned heads. Ditching her glam look, she tied her hair in a ponytail and was seen sporting glasses with black sandals. Her simplicity won many hearts and netizens couldn’t stop complimenting the couple for their down-to-earth looks. Yes, you read that right! If reports by BollywoodShaadis is to be believed, Isha opted to wear black-coloured Hermes Oran sandals with her nightwear. According to the website, the sandals are worth 660 US dollars, approximately Rs. 54,152. In an interview with Vogue, she had opened up about her choice of clothing when she goes to work. She had in-length spoken about how she prefers to wear cotton kurtas instead of business formals. Isha said, “At work, I love wearing Indian clothes... cotton kurtas with block prints. I think it's one of the greatest things about being Indian—our clothes! I used to hate dressing up in business formals during my time in America. It was a nightmare to get into a blazer. It works well for slim bodies, but how do you wear a pencil skirt if you have a curvy body?”
For the unversed, after getting married to Anand Piramal in a lavish ceremony in 2018, Isha embraced motherhood in 2022. She had made it to the headline, when she returned to India with her babies for her brother Anant Ambani’s engagement ceremony to Radhika Merchant.
