Actor Jacqueline Fernandez often takes the internet by a storm and she as once again impressed her fans as she ushered a wave of nostalgia amongst the 90s kids with her new beverage commercial. The 36-year-old actress has now posed for food and beverage brand Pepsi as they recreated their iconic advertisement from 1992 that featured supermodel Cindy Crawford.
Meanwhile, the recreated ad features Jacqueline and from the looks of it, she struck the right chords with her fans. Interestingly, there’s hardly any difference in the picture and the Drive actress’ had a spot-on Cindy Crawford impression.
In the latest revamped ad, Bollywood diva Jacqueline can be seen arriving in style on a bike at a secluded petrol pump. Similar to the Cindy Crawford ad, Jacquline can be seen stopping by a petrol pump for a quick beverage break. There’s no difference in their outfits as well, unlike Cindy, even Jacquline was seen sporting a denim short and a white tank top.
Shortly after Jacqueline shared the commercial on her Instagram handles, netizens chimed into the comment section and expressed their views on the recreation.
“Cindy Crawford throwback. Extremely nostalgic,” a social media user commented.
“Oh My God! Ditto,” another one wrote. Many netizens called Jacqueline “Jacqueline Cindy Crawford.”
For the unversed, the original Pepsi commercial was filmed in 1992 and it was a huge success was it even premiered at the Super Bowl in the US.
