India's right-arm fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah hit the headlines a few days ago after it was reported that he pulled out of the fourth Test against England. He reportedly asked the BCCI to release him, citing a ‘personal reason’. Since then, there have been many rumours on social media and the Internet about Jasprit Bumrah’s wedding. While the cricketer himself hasn’t confirmed anything as such officially, there are rumours that he will likely be tying the knot with sports presenter, Sanjana Ganesan.
According to reports, the BCCI issued a statement thereby confirming that Jasprit Bumrah has been released due to personal reasons. "Jasprit Bumrah made a request to BCCI to be released from India’s squad ahead of the fourth Test owing to personal reasons. Accordingly, the fast bowler has been released and he will not be available for selection for the fourth Test," read the statement. Since then, a few names had been floating on social media as to who the cricketer will tie the knot with. A report in Zee Hindustan claims that Jasprit Bumrah will marry Sanjana Ganesan in Goa.
The news portal claimed that sources revealed that Jasprit Bumrah and Sanjana Ganesan will get married on March 14-15 in Goa. The report also states that the preparations for the wedding are complete, and that it will be attended by very few people owing to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Sanjana Ganesan is known for anchoring for Star Sports, and has been hosting shows for IPL, ICC, Cricket World Cup, Pro Badminton League. She is also a Miss India 2014 finalist.
