Kareena Kapoor Celebrates No-Glam Diwali With Saif Ali Khan, Taimur And Jeh, Says “Never Lose The Child in You”

Kareena Kapoor opted for a refreshingly low-key celebration this Diwali. Instead of the usual glitz and glam, she shared the festive day with husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan at a kids’ club, reminding everyone of the joy in simplicity. 

In an Instagram post on October 22, Kareena wrote: “This Diwali was in the kids' club. Cause never lose the child in you, my friends. Love and light, everyone.” The pictures she shared featured moments of unfiltered merriment — Saif dressed casually in a black shirt and shorts, engaged in board games with their children, while Taimur and Jeh immersed themselves in the day's fun-filled activities.

Though her Diwali was deliberately understated, a juxtaposition to this came just a bit earlier during Dhanteras, when Kareena turned heads in a royal­blue silk lehenga. She celebrated surrounded by loved ones including Saif, Karisma Kapoor, Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu. The ensemble featured gota patti embroidery, bootas on the sleeves and hem, red piping on the blouse, and a flared skirt edged in bold gold borders. The look was completed by a dupatta adorned with golden sitara and cut-dana work — a traditional yet strikingly elegant choice. 

Ultimately, Kareena’s Diwali message was clear: festivities don’t always require sparkle and sequins. Sometimes the true magic comes from playful moments, family togetherness, and remembering the child within.
