Ram Charan And Upasana Kamineni Konidela To Welcome Their Second Baby; Inside The Joyous Godh Bharai Celebration
Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela are expecting their second child, and Upasana shared the joyful news via Instagram. The video she posted highlights her “Godh Bharai” (baby-shower) ceremony, held during Diwali.
The couple — who married in — welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2023, and are now preparing to expand their family. Upasana’s caption on her post said: “This Diwali was all about double the celebration, double the love and double the blessings (sic).”
In the shared video, friends and family can be seen celebrating the occasion. Notably, star actress Nayanthara appeared with her husband Vignesh Shivan and their kids, Uyir and Ulag.
The congratulatory messages poured in from all corners: actress Kajal Aggarwal wrote, “Big congratulations and lots of love to mama, papa and biggest congratulations to big sis Kaar (sic).” And producer Guneet Monga added: “Many Many Congratulations and Happy Diwali dear @upasanakaminenikonidela (sic).”
Meanwhile on the professional front, Ram Charan is gearing up for the release of his movie Peddi — a sports drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana, co-starring Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Jagapathi Babu. The film is scheduled to release on 27 March 2025.
