Cricket fans can be really toxic at times. A player can be immune to all the social media trolling if he is in top form, but everyone knows a player’s form is not exactly consistent throughout his career. 

Indian cricketer KL Rahul left the Indian cricket fans disappointed as he marched towards the pavilion after getting trapped in front of the stumps of Paul van Meekeren. He merely managed to score 9 runs out of 12 balls and it turns out to be Rahul's second low score in the tournament after a forgettable outing in the first match against Pakistan last Sunday (October 23). 

His bad form has worried India’s Men in Blue who continue to get off bad starts. India needs Rahul in form but he seems to be in a slump at the moment. 

Some fans even pointed out that the time has come to drop Rahul and include Rishabh Pant in the playing 11. Some shared funny memes on his dismissal. 

Clearly, his performance did not go well with the fans and they have even dragged his girlfriend Athiya Shetty. Unfortunately, the memers have gone personal this time and they did not even spare Suniel Shetty from being a part of the trolls.
