CCTV Footage Of Sonali Phogat walking out of a pub in Goa with one of the accused has surfaced on social media
BJP leader and actor Sonali Phogat died at the age of 42 earlier this week in Goa. Police have arrested her manager Sudhir Sangwan and his associate Sukhwinder Singh for their alleged involvement in her murder. As per the latest update, Sukhwinder and Sudhir confessed that they intentionally mixed an obnoxious chemical in Sonali’s drink. In fact, the last CCTV footage of the late BJP leader walking out of a pub has surfaced on social media.
In the video that has gone viral, Sonali could be seen walking out of the pub at about 4.30 am with one of the accused. The Bigg Boss 14 fame actress looked unstable and walked with support from one of the accused. She complained of uneasiness to her family after a few hours of reaching her hotel room and thus she was taken to a hospital where doctors declared her brought dead. Addressing the media in a press conference, IGP Omvir Singh Bishnoi stated, “On the basis of CCTV footage, it was seen that alleged Sudhir Sangwan and his associate Sukhwinder Singh were partying with the deceased at a club. A video establishes that one of them forcefully made the victim consume a substance. “When confronted, Sukhwinder and Sudhir confessed that they intentionally mixed an obnoxious chemical into a liquid and made the victim drink it.”
As per the Goa police, Sonali Phogat was forcefully drugged by Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder at a restaurant on Anjuna beach. The actor-politician complained of uneasiness after returning to her hotel. Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh have been arrested and are on remand in police custody for two days.
