Meghan Markle Started Work On OTT Project Before Megxit, Despite Prince Harry’s Claims? Deets HERE
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down from their roles as senior members of the Royal family, last year. The couple then moved to the US later in 2020. Later, Meghan had shared in a statement how Archewell Productions, named after son Archie will collaborate with streaming platform Netflix for a new venture.  It was just recently that Meghan Markle recently made an announcement and informed that her new animated series is titled ‘Pearl’. According to a report now, Meghan had started working on her OTT project before her exit as a senior member of the Royal family, despite Prince Harry’s claims.

According to a report in Page Six, they were told that Meghan Markle started working on her Netflix project with David Furnish, long before Megxit, back in 2018. As per the report, Markle and Furnish were in active discussion with the streaming platform, while Meghan was still in England. The report stated that they were in talks with the streaming platform when Markle was still a senior working member of the royal family and living behind the Palace walls.

For the unversed, in March, during Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, The Prince had mentioned that they signed deals with Netflix and Spotify after they moved to California. He had said that it was “never part of the plan” and added, “That was suggested by somebody else by the point of where my family literally cut me off financially, and I had to afford security for us.” Harry had even mentioned that Meghan and he were only able to start a new life because of the millions his mother, late Princess Diana had left him. He had said, “I’ve got what my mum left me, and without that, we would not have been able to do this.” Harry had also revealed that it was a friend who had suggested the idea of collaborating with the streaming platforms during the pandemic. The Prince had said, “We hadn’t thought about it,” Harry continued. “So, there were all sorts of different options. And look, from my perspective, all I needed was enough money to be able to pay for security to keep my family safe.'”

Meanwhile, the release date of Meghan Markle’s series Pearl is not revealed yet. It is based on a young girl who finds inspiration from an influential woman from history while on a heroic adventure. On the personal front, Prince Harry and Meghan, who are parents to son Archie, welcomed their second child, daughter Lilibet Diana recently.
