MS Dhoni’s Parents Test Positive For COVID-19; Admitted To A Private Hospital In Ranchi
We are facing the second wave of COVID-19 in India, and the number of Coronavirus cases have been rapidly increasing. Amid the surge in COVID-19 cases across India, several states announced strict restrictions in an attempt to control the spread of the pandemic. In the last few weeks, several celebrities, as well as cricket players such as Sachin Tendulkkar, Irfan Pathan, and many others tested positive for COVID-19. Now, it is being reported that cricketer MS Dhoni’s parents have contracted Coronavirus.

According to ANI, MS Dhoni's parents, mother Devika Devi and father Pan Singh have tested positive for COVID-19. After testing positive, they were admitted to a private hospital in Ranchi. MS Dhoni’s parents are currently being treated at Pulse Superspeciality Hospital,  and according to a statement by the hospital, their oxygen levels are stable. “Parents of cricketer MS Dhoni have been admitted here at the hospital after testing positive for #COVID19. Their oxygen level is stable: Pulse Superspeciality Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand,” read the tweet by ANI.

MS Dhoni is currently captaining CSK in the Indian Premier League 2021 season and has reached the milestone of captaining the Chennai side for the 200th time. They are currently placed third on the table after three matches, having won two back-to-back matches against Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings.

After having played IPL 2020 in UAE, the legendary captain did not enter the field for any competitive matches and spent some quality time with his family. He directly stepped onto the field in March when CSK organised a pre-season training camp.
