IPL 2020 which was scheduled to kick start on March 29, 2020, was later suspended till April 15, with no certain date chalked out by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, now with the lockdown period of 21 days chances of this most awaited tournament to kick start or at least decision to be made on it also looks bleak.

However, with everyone keeping their finger crossed comes an answer from Mumbai Indians team captain Rohit Sharma and well it’s not good news either. Rohit revealed during an Instagram live chat session with Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen. Just like commoners, the cricketer too expressed of being unclear about the date when the much-awaited cricket league will kick start. He said, “At some stage, when things settle down, it might happen, who knows.”
