Mumbai Police has yet again shown their creative side while urging people to wear masks amidst the spike in Covid 19 cases in the city. The department used a scene from Ranveer Singh’s 83's trailer to post an advisory and added a funny twist to it. They shared a photo of the actor, playing the role of former India captain Kapil Dev alongside a caption that is the need of the hour. And, the post has been evoking positive responses from the netizens, who flooded the comments sections with laughing-out-loud emoticons.
Taking to their Instagram handle, Mumbai Police shared a photo of Ranveer from the playground scene and his expressions are simply unmissable. The photo read, “He doesn't know defence.” Alongside the post, they wrote in the caption, “When you don't wear your mask inspite of '83' million reminders.”
Last week, Mumbai police. in order to promote traffic rules under the campaign, ‘Tune on Safety’, used the parody of a couple of Bollywood songs to spread awareness. From referring to the song 'Rum-Whisky' from Vicky Donor to altering the lyrics of Yo Yo Honey Singh’s 'Chaar Botal Vodka', the Police department altered the lyrics of the party songs.
Talking about 83, the trailer of Kabir Khan’s directorial was released on November 30 and it has left everyone impressed with Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s brilliant stint. The sports drama, which is based on the life of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, is slated to hit the theatres on December 24th, 2021.
