Actress Hansika Motwani got married to her longtime boyfriend Sohael Khaturiya at the Mundota Fort and Palace in Jaipur last year. Their wedding was a grand affair with just family members and close friends in attendance. Interestingly, Hansika announced her reality show titled ‘Hansika's Love Shaadi Drama’, which is based on her wedding with Sohael and is streaming on the OTT platform. In an episode, Hansika’s mother Mona was seen demanding the groom’s family members to pay Rs 5 lakh to her per minute!
Yes, you read that right! And the reason for the same will leave you stunned. An ‘upset’ Mona asked the groom’s family to pay her the hefty price for coming late at the wedding. She said, “I have a humble request to make. Kathuriyas are people who are very late and Motwani’s are very punctual. If you come late today, you must pay me Rs 5 lakh for every minute of delay. I make this request because the inauspicious hour is between 4:30 pm to 6 pm So I request if you could come a little early.” ALSO READ: OMG! In the same episode, the Aap Kaa Surroor actress also spoke about her feelings when she saw Sohael waiting for her at the mandap. Hansika shared, it hit her so hard and she was like ‘I am getting married to the love of my life.’ She also stated that it was the best feeling and she got so emotional that she broke down. Hansika and Sohael were really good friends before they realized what they share is more than friendship. The latter was the actress’ brother's friend so he has always been around her.
Work-wise, Hansika started her career as a child artist with TV show ‘Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand’ and later appeared on many shows like ‘Shaka Laka Boom Boom’, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Karishma Kaa Karishma’ and ‘Son Pari.’ She also featured as a child actor in Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Koi... Mil Gaya.’
She made her acting debut with the Telugu film ‘Desamuduru’ which Puri Jagannadh directed. She was last seen in the Tamil film ‘Maha.’ Motwani will next be seen in upcoming projects like Partner, Rowdy Baby, and My Name Is Shruthi.
