K-drama fans are over the moon as reports of One The Woman star Honey Lee being in talks with the producers for her comeback series are doing rounds on the internet. Yes, you read that right! Apparently, the actress will be returning to the small screen after she gave birth to her daughter in June earlier this year.
According to Soompi, it is being reported that the 39-year-old actress has been offered a role in Flower That Blooms At Night. As per the source from her agency, Saram Entertainment, quoted by the publication, "Honey Lee is positively in talks to star in the drama Flower That Blooms At Night."
Talking about the upcoming drama, it is an investigative comedy historical drama. If reports are to be believed, the drama is the newest project by producing director Jang Tae Yoo. The director has delivered hit K-dramas like My Love from the Star, Tree With Deep Roots and Lovers of the Red Sky. The series will follow the journey of a widow and the double life she leads.
Honey Lee, also known as Lee Hanee, is a well-known face in the K-industry. The musician-actress became the first Korean beauty to win the Miss Grand Slam title when she competed for the Miss Universe title in 2007. She went on to snag many awards for her exemplary performances as an actress.
She received the Top Excellence Award at the 2021 SBS Drama Awards. She went on to tie the knot with her non-celebrity boyfriend in December last year and announced her first pregnancy a few weeks later. Fans were excited for the actress.
It looks like Honey is all set to return to the small screen to entertain her fans!
