She was seen rocking an elegant blue and red-hued patola saree which was designed by Navdip Tundiya and it is priced at a whopping Rs 1.70 lakhs. Ms Ambani looked flawless with her dewy makeup and wavy hair. She accessorised her look with a simple dainty pearl necklace and bangles.


WHAT IS PATOLA?

Patola is a printing form which originates from Patan, Gujrat and its ikat sarees are usually made from silks in that region. In the 11th century, these were handwoven and intricately designed sarees and suits became a sign of social status among affluent Gujarati women. It was also a must-have in the bridal trousseau. 

Interestingly, the patola prints are the epitome of luxury. 

Nita Ambani is often seen flaunting her love for the style by wearing sarees and dupattas. However, she even carefully mixes the traditional weave with a touch of modernity. She was seen wearing a red-hue patola kurta from the designer, Jayanti Reddy and she picked the kurta set for Radhika Merchant's arrangement, and her fans were in awe of her style.

Apart from the prints, she also encourages Indian classical dance forms like Bharatnatyam to flaunting her love for traditional Indian wear, Nita Ambani is truly the epitome of grace.
