The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has brought a lot of flak for the Indian government, as several people across the country have been showing their disagreement in the form of protests and opinions on social media. This also includes a lot of celebrities from different walks of life. But, hey, popular rapper Raftaar has taken his criticism a level ahead by openly opposing CAA in front of hundreds of people. It was ahead of his recent concert that the rapper raised his voice over the act and said that no one has the right to make people leave India.

A viral clip sees Raftaar confidently speaking against CAA on the stage. He even went onto introducing the crowd to a friend of him named Arshad and said that he is ready to take bullets if anyone tries to remove him from the country. He could be heard saying, “Before starting I want to make something seriously clear, whether my career goes on tomorrow or it doesn’t I am not bothered, I have earned enough so that I don’t die of hunger. This man’s name is Arshad; he takes care of me to the extent that nobody can even push me. Continuing his stance, Raftaar added, “Whether they are Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, or Muslims, they are all our brothers, I will not let anyone be taken out of the country. After this, I do not care what happens to my career”. As a response to the same, the crowd cheers for the rapper, and so did the netizens across social media.
