Jaaved Jaaferi QUITS Social Media After He Gets Massively Trolled For His Anti-CAA Tweets

Actor Jaaved Jaaferi who has been active on social media protesting against the CAA has announced recently that he will be going off social media. As Jaaferi can’t handle the trolls and hate on social media, he has decided to quit social media for some time.

Since the Citizenship Amendment Act has been passed, the situation in the country has worsened with many people gathering in numbers and protesting against. With the Anti-CAA protests going on in the country, recently actor Jaaved Jaaferi has been following the matter closely and took to his social media to share his views on the same. After constantly protesting against the CAA, Jaaved Jaaferi recently got brutally trolled for his actions and has now decided to quit social media as he can’t handle the hate and trolls.

On Sunday, Javed Jaaferi took to his Twitter to share that he will no more be a part of social media, thanks to the trolls. Jaaferi mentioned that he cannot handle the trolling and hate being thrown at him and also assured that he will be back once the situation improves. Jaaferi tweeted, "Can’t handle this trolling and hate.. going off social media till the situation improves.. hopefully..Inshallaah..#indiafirst #jaihind” Jaaved Jaaferi has bee quite vocal about the recent Citizen Amendment Act (CAA) and has openly voiced his opinion. Earlier, the actor got trolled for supporting the armed policemen who were present when the students were protesting in Delhi. Jaaved Jaaferi took to his Twitter to share a video alarming fans on the issue of how the students are getting violent at the armed policemen by throwing stones at them. He tweeted, “The ‘violent’ students were a ‘threat’ to the armed policemen” Check the tweet below:


Meanwhile, Jaaved Jaaferi was also present at the Anti-CAA protest held in Mumbai at the August Kranti Maidaan and voiced his opinions as well. During the protest in Mumbai, the actor gave a powerful speech which was witnessed by the mob gathered at the protest. Later, Jaaferi tweeted, “Amazing gathering #MumbaiAgainstCAA..more power to the people.. The police was amazing too #MumbaiPolice #Respect”


Apart from Jaaved Jaaferi, celebrities like Anurag Kashyap, Kamal Haasan, Richa Chadha, Parvathy, Swara Bhasker, Huma Qureshi, Shabana Azmi, Aparna Sen and Farhan Akhtar were also present.
