Rajpal Yadav Still In Tihar Jail, Wife Radha Says “He Is Not Out Yet” Amid Bail Hearing Buzz
Radha Yadav, the wife of Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, has publicly addressed widespread rumours about her husband’s legal situation, firmly stating that he is still in Tihar Jail and has not been released. Her statement came amid a flurry of speculation triggered by an old video of Rajpal thanking Salman Khan that resurfaced online, which led many to believe he had somehow secured his freedom. Radha made it clear in her interview with Bombay Times that “as of now, he is not out of Tihar Jail” and noted that his bail hearing was set for Monday, February 16.

When asked about the actor’s condition behind bars, she said simply, “He is okay, from what I understand.” Radha also highlighted the emotional support the family has received from close ones and well-wishers during this difficult period, saying that their entire family is united and grateful for the love and concern shown by both fans and those from the film industry.

Addressing rumours that several high-profile actors had stepped in to help Rajpal financially — including settling debts — Radha chose not to mention any names or specific figures. She explained cautiously, “I can’t take any specific names right now, but I would just want to say many people from the industry have stepped in to support.”

Ending on a hopeful tone, she said the family remains optimistic about the future: “We are hopeful that he will be out soon. That’s all I can say now. Once Rajpalji is out, he will be able to speak to you and the media and give further clarity on the matter.”

Rajpal Yadav’s legal troubles stem from a long-running ₹9-crore cheque-bounce case linked to a loan he took in 2010 for his directorial debut, which failed at the box office.
