Varanasi police have reportedly registered an FIR against unknown persons and have started a probe into the matter following a complaint from the locals

REAL Or FAKE? Ghost Captured On Camera In Varanasi, Spooky VIDEO Of Figure Climbing House Roof Goes VIRAL-WATCH!
Varanasi police have launched a hunt to nab a ghost who has been nightmares to people residing around a park in the Varanasi Development Authority (VDA) Colony, under Bhelupur Police Station. 

The cops have registered an FIR against unknown persons and have started a probe into the matter following a complaint from the locals. 

“There is fear among the people. On their complaint we have lodged an FIR against unknown persons and have intensified patrolling in the area,” said inspector Ramakant Dubey, Bhelupur Police Station.

It all started after a video of a woman floating in a white gown, hovering in and around the park in the VDA colony went viral. However, soon after the video made its way into people’s smartphones, panic struck amongst the locals and they even stopped coming out of their houses fearing the ‘ghost in the colony.  


A Hindustan Times report also suggests that some locals believed that the video seemed genuine to many, while a majority found the video to be fake. 

“It seems to be a fake video but there is a lot of fear among locals, hence we decided to approach the police to investigate the matter to reveal the truth,” Suresh Singh a local, who hails from the colony, quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

Meanwhile, the city police too have said that the video of the ‘ghost’ seemed to be forged. Police also has made an appeal to the masses not to pay heed to such videos. 

Furthermore, it has also intensified patrolling in the area.
