Popular South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently made headlines after it was reported she was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad post her Myositis diagnosis. Reportedly, the Pushpa actress was rushed to Apollo Hospital after her health condition deteriorated. However, amidst such reports doing the rounds, Samantha’s spokesperson has cleared the air and revealed the actress is not hospitalized, she is at home. Her spokesperson rubbished all such reports saying Samantha is taking rest at her home.
Speaking with India Today, the spokesperson addressed the reports of the actress being admitted to the hospital. Calling them ‘untrue’, the spokesperson mentioned Prabhu is resting at home. Last month, during the promotions of Yashoda, the 35-year-old actress revealed she has been diagnosed with Myositis, an autoimmune condition. She posted a photo of her while undergoing the treatment alongside a note wherein she stated her doctors are confident that she will make a complete recovery very soon. An excerpt from her note read, “Accepting this vulnerability is something that I am still struggling with. The doctors are confident that I will make a complete recovery very soon. I have had good days and bad days…. physically and emotionally…. and even when it feels like I can’t handle one more day of this, somehow that moment passes. I guess it can only mean that I am one more day closer to recovery. I love you.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS.”
On the work front, Samantha is riding high on the success of her recent release ‘Yashoda’ which is flying high at the box office. She also has upcoming films ‘Shaakuntalam’ and ‘Arrangements Of Love’ in the pipeline.
