South actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been making headlines since she revealed being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. The actress is currently undergoing treatment for the same and is reportedly on heavy medication. While her fans are praying for her speedy recovery, some netizens went to extreme levels to troll the 'Pushpa' actress. A Twitter user made an insensitive comment about Samantha saying she lost all her ‘charm and glow’ after her myositis diagnosis. However, the actress’ humble reply to the pity tweet is winning our hearts.

The user shared pictures of Samantha from the trailer launch of her film 'Shaakuntalam' and wrote, “Feeling sad for Samantha. She lost all her charm and glow. When everyone thought she came out of divorce strongly and her professional life is seeing heights, myositis hit her badly, making her weak again (sic).” The 35-year-old actress was quick to take note of this pity tweet and replied, “I pray you never have to go through months of treatment and medication like I did .. And here’s some love from me to add to your glow.” Fans came out in support of the actress and slammed the post calling it “brutal.”



Last year, the actress penned a lengthy note where she revealed a few months ago she was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition-Myositis. She mentioned that she was in hope that the illness would go into remission soon and that doctors are confident that she will make a complete recovery very soon. On Monday, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was spotted at the trailer launch of her upcoming movie Shaakuntalam in Hyderabad. She broke down in tears while recalling her team’s journey on the film. The film which is based on the popular play Kalidas also stars Dev Mohan and marks the acting debut of Allu Arjun’s six-year-old daughter Allu Arha.
