Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik lately made headlines for trouble in their marriage. Reportedly, they are officially divorced now and are co-parenting their son Izhaan. Pakistani model Ayesha Omar is said to be the reason behind their separation as some media reports claimed Shoaib had an extra-marital affair with Ayesha. In fact, their intimate pictures from the old shoot went viral on the internet with fans slamming the model for breaking the couple’s marriage. Now, Ayesha Omar has replied to a fan who asked her whether she was getting married to Shoaib.
One of the Twitter users asked the Pakistani model if she is getting married to the cricketer. While replying to this, Ayesha Omar cleared she and Shoaib are good friends and well-wishers. She tweeted, “No, not at all. He is happily married to Sania and I respect the couple. I and Shoaib are good friends and well-wishers. We respect each other a lot. Amid the divorce rumours, Sania and Shoaib are coming up with their new show called ‘The Mirza Malik Show’, and Urduflix- Pakistan's first Urdu OTT platform shared this exciting news on their Instagram handle by sharing a poster featuring the couple. In the poster, the tennis player was seen resting her hand on Shoaib's shoulder as they posed together for the camera. The poster was captioned, “The Mirza Malik Show very soon only on Urduflix www.urduflix.com #TheMirzaMalikShow.” However, soon after the online platform dropped the first poster, several netizens felt that their separation rumours were just drama and called it a ‘publicity stunt.’
For the unversed, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik tied the knot in 2010 at Taj Krishna Hotel in Hyderabad and welcomed their first child, son Izhaan in 2018.
