Selena Gomez Has A Public Fall Out With Kidney Donor Francia Raisa For Calling Taylor Swift Her Only Industry Friend! Singer’s Comment Sparks SERIOUS Backlash
Selena Gomez and her kidney donor, actress Francia Raisa seemingly had a major fallout publicly following the pop singer’s interview. The 30-year-old singer is currently on a promotional spree for her new documentary, My Mind & Me which was recently released on AppleTV+, and during her interaction with Rolling Stone magazine, the singer revealed that Taylor Swift was her only industry friend.

However, Selena Gomez’s comment calling Taylor Swift her only industry friend did not go well with Raisa who reportedly commented "Interesting" on an Instagram post about Selena's quote and later deleted the same.

However, soon after Francia Raisa’s fans noticed the comment, they also learned that she wasn’t following Selena on social media anymore. Meanwhile, fans had mix reactions over the same as they called out Gomez for not acknowledging the How I Met Your Father star's role in her life for donating her kidney. Interestingly, some came out in support of Selena Gomez, clarifying that the singer’s comment was meant about being close to a globally famous superstar artist like Swift.

But, the irreparable damage is likely to cost Selena Gomez to loosing out one person from her friend list.

The comment that irked Francia came after Gomez told Rolling Stone magazine how she has never felt too close to anyone industry apart from Swift.

The singer was quoted as saying, "I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong."

However, Selena was seemingly prepared for the damage control that was caused by Raisa’s viral comment as the former said, "Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know."

For the unversed, Raisa and Gomez have been friends for over 15-years and they first meet in 2007 while visiting a children’s hospital together. Soon after Selena's Lupus diagnosis, the former donated her kidney to the Disney Channel alum.  In 2017, Gomez shared a post about Francia's organ donation and wrote, "There aren’t words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raisa. She gave me the ultimate gift and sacrifice by donating her kidney to me. I am incredibly blessed. I love you so much sis."

However, their relationship seems to be going downhill over the years. Fans even noticed how Raisa was not mentioned in Gomez’s My Mind and Me documentary, which was released Friday, November 4, on Apple TV+.
