Shah Rukh Khan is well known for his witty and hilarious replies, and while interating with Rahul Tripathi, he gave a glimpse of the same. During the launch, Rahul mentioned that he was a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and has been following IPL since childhood. He also recalled his favourite moment from the IPL inaugural edition in 2008, wherein Brendon McCullum smashed 158 runs and Shah Rukh waved from the stands.

“I am very happy and it’s been really wonderful and just one and a half months and all great memories for me. From my childhood, it was my dream to play for KKR. The way Brendon McCullum scored his 158 runs and you (Shah Rukh Khan) waving from the stands so it was something very special,” Rahul told SRK. Shah Rukh Khan then pulled his leg and joked how he is still in the stands waving like that, but he is waiting for Rahul to score 158 runs.

“You still have to score 158 runs, Rahul, I am still waving like that, you are not scoring like that yet,” came Shah Rukh Khan’s hilarious reply. Rahul Tripathi won the Man of the Match award against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), in his second match of IPL 2020.
