Industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta have recently welcomed their second baby and the entire Ambani family is ecstatic about the arrival of a little girl. Shloka often rules headlines for her fashion sense and for wearing oh-so-expensive jewelry on public outings. She has a huge collection of expensive diamond jewelry including one Mouawad necklace gifted by her mother-in-law Nita Ambani. This necklace was gifted by Nita as a wedding gift to Shloka and its cost is whopping Rs. 451 crores. Yes, you read that right!
As per the latest report in Bollywoodshaadis, Shloka’s this most expensive necklace is no more available in the market due to probable reasons. The exquisite diamond jewellery is from the most renowned company in the world, Mouawad and it consists of 91 diamonds. The report added 'Mouawad L’Incomparable' necklace is made of internally flawless golden L’Incomparable Diamond weighing 407.48 carats. Moreover, it has 91 white diamonds cut in various shapes adding 200 additional carats to this valuable piece. This 'Mouawad L’Incomparable' neckpiece even set the World record for being the most valuable necklace in the world. It was priced at USD 55 million at that time, which when converted to Indian currency, amounts to Rs. 451 crores. And as per the latest estimated value, the price should have been around USD 60 million, which converts to Rs. 492 crores in INR.
Reportedly, Shloka's most expensive 'Mouawad L’Incomparable' necklace was also displayed at Sotheby last year.
Interestingly, Shloka in her wedding wore many expensive jewels. Her wedding kundan and polki set was adorned with diamonds from South Africa and they were worth Rs. 3 crores. Her regal lehenga was designed by designer duo, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. On May 31, Akash and his wife, Shloka Mehta welcomed their second child, a baby girl, and the newborn child was brought home in the brand new supercar, Maybach S580 worth a whopping Rs. 3 crores.
