Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has been making the headlines for the past years for his tumultuous relationship with Indian tennis player Sania Mirza. Rumours of the couple, who tied the knot in 2010, going through a tough time in the marriage have been doing rounds on social media. It is to be noted that they have yet to officially comment on the speculated separation. Amid their alleged divorce rumours, the cricketer recently tied the knot again with actress Sana Javed, leaving his fans and admirers shocked.
Taking to their official social media handles, on Saturday afternoon, in a collaborative post, Shoaib and Sana posted their pictures on Instagram. Dressed to the nines, the newlyweds exuded happiness and excitement as they posed for the camera. Taking to the caption, they wrote, “Alhamdullilah (red heart emoji) "And We created you in pairs" - وَخَلَقْنَاكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا.” Netizens were quick to take to the comment section of the post to condemn the two. For the unversed, before tying the knot with Sania, Malik was married to Ayesha Siddiqui. He divorced her in 2010, before marrying the tennis player later that year. They had tied the knot in a traditional Muslim ceremony in Hyderabad, India which was followed by a Walima ceremony in Sialkot, Pakistan. They welcomed their son Izhaan Mirza Malik, eight years later. Over the past year, it was heavily rumoured that the cricketer cheated on his wife with model Ayesha Omar. His marriage to Sana Javed, who recently divorced Umar Jaswal, her husband of three years, definitely came as a surprise for many.
