Ahead of going to Ayodhya, for the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya’s Ram Janmabhoomi temple, actress and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut took to her official social media handle to heap praises on the sculptor Arun Yogiraj for his Ram Lalla idol creation. The face of the idol was revealed on Friday afternoon after the blindfold was taken off it’s face, which had taken the internet by storm. For the unversed, the idol of Lord Ram, depicting the deity as a 5-year-old standing child, was placed in the Garbha Griha in the temple on Thursday.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she shared the viral photos of the Ram Lalla idol on Friday and hailed the sculptor Arun Yogiraj. She expressed how she had always imagined that Lord Ram as a young boy wold look like the idol made by Yogiraj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to participate in the consecration ceremony, also known as ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ at the Ram temple on 22 January 2024. For the unversed, ‘pran pratishtha’ signifies instilling an idol with divine consciousness. It is a crucial ritual that is followed for every idol that is worshipped in a temple. The temple has reportedly extended invitations to over 11,000 guests including celebrities like Sachin Tendulkar, Anushka Sharma-Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor, Ramananda Sagar's Ramayan fame Arun Govil and Dipika Chilika, Ram Charan, Rajinikanth, Kangana Ranaut among many others.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen Tejas. She will be next seen in Emergency. Not only is the movie her first solo directorial, but she will also be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from that, she also has a few other projects in her pipeline.
