Pakistani actress and YouTuber Ayesha Omar has been making the headlines for quite some time now for her link-up rumours with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. It has been heavily reported that the duo are planning to tie the knot, amid speculations of separation between Malik and his wife Indian tennis player Sania Mirza.
However, Omar has refuted all the rumours. According to Hindustan Times, Ayesha during a social media interaction shared that she has no plans of marrying the cricketer as they are just good friends. She also shared that she respects Shoaib and Sania a lot. When a fan asked her on a recent Instagram post if she has any plans of getting married, she said no. Quoted by The Times Of India, she replied to the comment saying, “Jee nahin. Bilkul nahi. Un kee shadi hoe we hai aur who apnee biwi kay saath bohat khush hai. Main donon @realshoaibmalik aur @saniamirza kee bohat respect kartee hoon. (No. Absolutely not. He is married and he is happy with his wife. I respect them a lot.)”
She also added that she is good friends with the 40-year-old and they care about each other. She wrote, “Shoaib aur mein achay dost aur ek doosray kay kherkhwa hai. Bohat respect kartay hain. Aisay rishtay bhee hotay hain duniya mein logon kay (Shoaib and I are good friends and care about each other. We respect each other a lot. People in this world do have such kind of relationships too.)”
For the unversed, Sania and Shoaib got married in April 2010. The couple welcomed their son, Izhaan Mirza Malik, eight years later. It is being heavily rumoured that Shoaib Malik cheated on Sania with model Ayesha Omar. Their intimate photos from a photo shoot went viral on social media, with many wondering if Ayesha was the reason behind the couple’s split.
