Popular Telugu actor Sudheer Varma passed away on 23rd January in Visakhapatnam after he allegedly consumed poison. He was 33. As per the media reports, the actor died by suicide after he consumed poison. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Hyderabad where he was seeking treatment. But Sudheer’s health deteriorated on Sunday and doctors failed to save him. Sudheer’s untimely demise has sent shockwaves across the entire Telugu film industry as rich tributes pour in for the actor.
Sudheer’s Kundanapau Bomma co-star Sudhakar Komakula took to his Twitter handle to confirm the sad news of his passing away. He expressed his grief saying he can’t believe that Sudheer is no more. Sudhakar posted several photos of the late actor and wrote, "Sudheer! @sudheervarmak Such a lovely and warm guy’ It was great knowing you and working with you brother! Can’t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti! @iChandiniC @vara_mullapudi @anil_anilbhanu.”
Filmmaker Venky Kudumula expressed his shock at the actor’s death and paid his tribute writing, “Sometimes the sweetest smiles hide the deepest pain..We never know what others are going through.. Please be empathetic and spread just love !! Miss you ra Sudheer ! You shouldn’t have done this.. May ur soul rest in peace (sic).”
Reportedly, Sudheer Varma was dealing with mental pressure due to his personal issues and thus he decided to take the extreme step of ending his life. A spokesperson from the family told The Times of India, "He had been struggling for a while to get good roles.”
Sudheer has appeared in several Telugu films such as Kundanapu Bomma and Second Hand. He was also seen in a web series titled ‘Shoot Out At Alair.’
His funeral will take place today in Visakhapatnam.
