Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul got married on 23rd January in an intimate ceremony at the Shetty family’s lavish farmhouse in Khandala. Their marriage was a private affair with just family members and a few industry friends in attendance. While fans were eagerly waiting to see the dreamy photos of Athiya and KL Rahul from Mandap, the couple shared their first pictures as Mr and Mrs on social media. The newly-married couple looked beautiful donning lighter colour palette outfits.
Athiya and Rahul dropped photos from the wedding ceremony on their respective Instagram handles alongside a heartfelt gratitude note. Athiya and Rahul also posed for pictures for the paparazzi, gathered outside their home since morning. The couple made a dazzling appearance as they arrived, holding hands and were seen smiling while posing. The duo looked head over heels in love while making candid poses for the paps.
On her big day, Suniel Shetty’s daughter opted for a pale pink colored heavily embroidered lehenga and diamonds. On the other hand, KL Rahul complimented her in a white sherwani with an emerald necklace. After their wedding ceremony, Suniel Shetty and his son Ahan distributed sweets to the media and thanked them for their cooperation. The bride’s father also informed that the couple will be hosting a grand reception in Mumbai after IPL.
Athiya’s close friends including Krishna Shroff, Diana Penty, Anshula Kapoor, and Anushka Ranjan with husband Aditya Seal and cricketers Varun Aaron and Ishant Sharma, with wife Pratima Singh, were spotted at the wedding ceremony.
