Suniel Shetty reportedly got emotional and was seen in tears while Athiya Shetty was taking pheras with KL Rahul!
Suniel Shetty’s darling daughter Athiya Shetty, on Monday, got married to her boyfriend KL Rahul at her family farmhouse in Khandala. Their wedding was a low-key and intimate affair with just family members and a few close friends in attendance. Suniel left no stone unturned to make the day memorable for his daughter and took in charge of all the arrangements. Just like every father, it was an emotional day for Suniel and he reportedly broke down in tears during Athiya pheras.
As reported by Bollywoodlife, Suniel got emotional and was in tears seeing his daughter taking pheras with Rahul. An industry insider present at the wedding told the portal, “Suniel had this very cool Anna image. But he is also a very emotional person and a doting father. It was heartening to see him happy and at the same time tear up to see his little daughter become a bride. He was emotional all through the pheras.” The insider added, “He (Suniel) looked after everything himself and ensured that everybody attending the wedding, inside and out, were comfortable and taken good care of. The report added that the Hera Pheri actor looked after all the arrangements, from decorations to greeting media at the wedding. After the ceremony, Suniel along with his son Ahan distributed sweets to the media and thanked them for their support and cooperation. The actor while interacting with paps stated KL Rahul is like his son so there is no new role of father-in-law and that he plays the father role very well.
Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul are expected to host a grand wedding reception in Mumbai after the upcoming IPL.
