Singer Malavika Clears The Air Saying She Did Not Pass Coronavirus To SP Balasubramanyam; Rajinikanth And Others Pray As His Health Remains Critical
Legendary singer SP Balasubramanyam got admitted to a hospital after he tested positive for Coronavirus on August 5. Ever since then, his health has deteriorated and he has been put on a ventilator, say the reports. Rajinikanth, AR Rahman, Ilayaraja and many others recently joined a mass prayer meet for his speedy recovery. Now, singer and TV personality Malvika has come out and cleared the air over the fake messages being circulated. The messages state that she passed on COVID-19 to SP Balasubramanyan.

In a long post on Facebook, Malavika revealed that SP Balasubramanyam tested positive for Coronavirus on August 5, while she tested positive on August 8. She mentioned about a show Samajavaragamana she shot for on August 31 and stated that SP Balasubramanyam shot for the show a day prior. Hence, she did not get a chance to him, so there is no way she could have passed on the virus.

A part of her note read, "A fake whastapp message has been doing the rounds which says I tested positive for Corona "before" the shoot of a TV show but I still went to it. It also says the show was planned with me and my sister." Further adding, "Now coming to facts- Samajavaragamana SPBalu Garu's episode was shot on July 30th with many singers like Hemachandra, Anudeep, Pranavi and Lipsika and on 31st with Karunya, Damini, Satya Yamini, Vasa Pavani and Malavika. I happen to be one of the 4 female singers on the second day of the shoot. Had I been positive I could have easily passed it on to the 3 other female singers or the anchor with whom I shared the makeup room.My sister is not a singer and she lives in the Usa, how and why will she sing in that show?"

She further mentioned about the safety precautions she has been taking during the lockdown, and in the end, Malvika mentioned that she'll report to Cyber Crime whoever spread fake news.
