Sonu Sood Extends ₹1.5 Lakh Financial Help To Late Actor Fish Venkat’s Family Days After His Sudden Death Due To Kidney Failure

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has once again shown his compassionate side by helping the family of late Tollywood actor Fish Venkat, who recently passed away due to kidney failure. After learning about the actor’s demise, Sonu extended financial support by sending ₹1.50 lakh to his family.

Before Fish Venkat’s death, his family had reached out to several Tollywood celebrities, requesting financial aid for his kidney treatment. Unfortunately, help didn’t arrive in time, and the actor passed away. Moved by their situation, Sonu Sood offered assistance to the family shortly after the tragic news broke.

As per information shared by Sonu’s team, “The actor had offered help to Fish Venkat's family hoping that he was still in the hospital and would make it, but he was shocked to know when he found out that the actor had passed away.” Despite the news, Sonu transferred ₹1.50 lakh to the family to support them during this difficult phase.

The statement further revealed, “Sonu also personally spoke to Venkat's wife and other family members over a phone call, and assured them that he would support them whenever needed.”

Meanwhile, actor Prabhas had reportedly promised ₹50 lakh for Venkat’s kidney transplant. However, the family claimed they didn’t receive the amount. Venkat’s daughter, Sravanthi, stated that a fraudster pretending to be Prabhas’ assistant contacted them. A family member said, “Some unknown person called us pretending to be Prabhas Anna’s assistant. We found out after that it was a fake call. He doesn’t even know something like this is happening. We have not received any financial help yet.”

Fish Venkat, born Venkat Raj, was known for his comic and villainous roles in Telugu films like Adhurs, Gabbar Singh, Khaidi No 150, and Shivam. His last appearance was in Coffee with a Killer.
