Over the years, American singer Taylor Swift has left her fans enchanted with her soulful songs. One of the most sought-after celebrities, she has been topping various music charts with her albums. Currently, at the Eras Tour concerts, she has been touring in various parts of the world. As much as she is lauded for her professional achievements, Swift also often makes the headlines for her romantic relationships. Her recent boyfriend Travis Kelce is all set to play at the Super Bowl with his team, Kansas City Chiefs on February 11.
Ahead of the much-awaited match, a UK baker Lara Marson took the internet by storm as she created a life-sized cake of the singer cheering for her boyfriend’s team. According to a report by Bollywood Shaadis, the baker creates a life-sized red velvet, vanilla-flavoured cake that weighs around 130 kg. If reports are to be believed, it took Marson around 38 hours to bake and style the cake. She shared glimpses of the cake on X, formerly known as Twitter, with the caption, “I made a Lifesize cake of @taylorswift13 in a @Chiefs sweater holding up the @NFL Super Bowl trophy. She made the cake, amid reports stating that the 34-year-old singer would be attending the Super Bowl LVIII to cheer for her boyfriend, whose team Kansas City Chiefs will be playing against the San Francisco 49ers. Sharing her thought process behind baking the cake, Marson told The Guardian that she had also wanted to make a Taylor Swift cake as she is everyone’s favourite. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she added, “I really like her, I’m not a diehard Swiftie but I do really appreciate her music and the fact she is a role model for women. I never got round to making a cake but obviously, the Super Bowl is coming up and me and my husband really enjoy the NFL so to put the two things together, it was the perfect opportunity to go ahead with it. She’s amazing, but having the NFL connection made it even more special.”
For the unversed, before moving on with the National Football League (NFL) player Travis Kelce in July 2023, the singer was in a romantic relationship with Joe Alwyn for six years. They broke up in April 2023.
